Investments

At the core of Astamar Asset Management LLC lies a disciplined investment philosophy built on risk-adjusted returns, capital preservation, and growth through innovation.

Our flagship vehicle, Latitude 20 Equity Fund LLC, is a U.S.-based private equity real estate fund (structured as a REIT) that invests exclusively in high-demand Mexican markets. We target a blend of short-term income-producing properties and high-value development projects, focusing on premium real estate in emerging and stabilized locations.

Investment Focus:

  • Short-Term Rental Properties: Fully furnished, high-yield vacation units managed on platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com.

  • Ground-Up Developments: Equity investments in luxury residential and mixed-use developments.

  • Land Banking: Strategic land acquisitions in growth corridors for future entitlement, resale, or development.

  • Value-Add Opportunities: Repositioning distressed or underperforming assets through renovation, rebranding, and operational overhaul.

Location Strategy:

We focus on Mexico’s most resilient and rapidly appreciating markets:

  • Riviera Maya: Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Cancun

  • Pacific Coast: Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita, Bucerías, Cabo San Lucas

  • Urban Growth Hubs: Mérida, Guadalajara, Mexico City

Investment Benefits:

  • Access to off-market, institutional-grade opportunities rarely available to individual investors.

  • U.S.-managed, Mexican asset-based structure provides currency diversification and cross-border stability.

  • Quarterly dividends and 2–5 year targeted exits per property cycle ensure cash flow and capital appreciation.
